Casabuela Café: Where The Village Meets
Founded in 2025, Casabuela Café was really born out of a need. I’m a mom, I’m Puerto Rican, and I wanted a place where I could be with friends, sip something, and not feel like I had to choose between being a present parent or a present woman.

Founded in 2025, Casabuela Café was really born out of a need. I’m a mom, I’m Puerto Rican, and I wanted a place where I could be with friends, sip something, and not feel like I had to choose between being a present parent or a present woman.
And honestly, when I looked around there just wasn’t a space like that, especially one that felt like home or had a real community.
So, I designed Casabuela to be parent-centered and kid-friendly with a sala, lounge vibe that welcomes all to plant roots.
Casabuela is inspired by my grandma’s house - a comfy, sensory haven with amazing food, drinks and family. Growing up, grandma's house grounded me while sparking wonder and curiosity. With knick knacks everywhere, puzzles on the table, and fabric and plants hanging like art, I aspire to recreate that magic at our café.
Casabuela is a love letter to legacy, culture, community and curiosity.
So yes, there are vibes, wonder and cocktails served in proper glasses. And, kids will fidget with busy boards and playthings, and engage in activities -- just like "old times" at grandma's house.
Casabuela is beautiful, it's vibrant, it’s thoughtful, and it’s built to serve the village. Because, that’s what I needed as a new parent and I know I can’t be the only one.
